A LETTER FROM US

We are so excited to celebrate our marriage with you in Israel!

Israel is near and dear to our hearts: it is the birthplace of LeeTal’s parents and Gil’s mother, where Gil’s parents met, and where we met back in 2014. We are thrilled to have the opportunity for our guests to experience our favorite home away from home.

While we would love to dance under the Mediterranean stars with each one of you, we understand not everyone will be able to make the trip abroad. All we ask is: a) have no worries, b) know that we love you, and c) save us a rain check for that dance!

For those who can join, GET READY TO PARTY! We have packed the week with all the best of Israel. From exploring Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv, to a Dead Sea spa day, we will make sure your trip is one to remember (and one we will surely never forget). Thank you for helping us make our special day even more special with your love and support.

Now, strap on your Tevas, pack your suitcases, and yalla - let's party!

FAQ

You have questions, we have the answers!

Is it safe to travel to Israel?

We are deeply aware of the complexities and challenges posed by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Our hearts go out to all those affected, and we understand the concerns our guests may have regarding safety. Rest assured, we are diligently monitoring the situation and taking every precaution to ensure the well-being of our cherished friends and family. Your safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a secure and joyful celebration for all. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to talk to us. We are here to provide support and address any issues you may have.

When do I need to RSVP by?

We kindly request you submit your RSVPs no later than May 31st.

Can i bring a plus 1?

If you’re not sure if you received a +1, please ask us.

Is there a gift registry?

We will not be doing a gift registry.

If you'd like, you can contribute to our honeymoon fund here.

Flights

We suggest arriving to Israel the weekend before the wedding so you can have time to settle in and adjust to the timezone.

For those interested, you can also stop in Europe before or after your visit to Israel as this not only helps break up a long flight, but can sometimes even save money on your flights.

Some countries/cities we recommend are: France, Amsterdam, Spain, Italy, Greece.

What’s The Dress code?

For our summer celebration, we kindly request guests to embrace the semi-formal dress code. Anticipate the heat!

Ladies, consider the charm of a long summer dress.

Gentlemen, we recommend wearing button-down shirts paired with dress pants. Suit jacket optional.

We can't wait to see everyone looking effortlessly chic!

What weather should I expect?

Expect hot and dry weather.

How Do I get around Israel?

Cabs: You can hail a cab on the street or download the Gett Taxi app (Israel's Uber).
Cabs do not take credit card so make sure you have cash! You do not need to tip cab drivers.

Scooters: There are rentable scooters all over Tel-Aviv that are very convenient and fun. Download the Lime, Bird and/or Wind apps.
Please be careful and alert when riding the scooters!

Walking: Tel-Aviv is a relatively small city and you’re able to walk around to get to most areas.

Exchanging money

There are ATM’s all around Tel-Aviv/Israel that allow you to take out money with an American Debit Card.

Additionally, you can find currency exchange kiosks at the airport and around the city.

We recommend you exchange some money at the airport for the taxi ride.

Tipping Culture

In Israel, gratuity is given before/while paying (not after). You normally tell the waiter the percentage you want to leave.

Standard tip is 12-15%.
